I've had many tubas over the years to try to find a comfortable match, EEb tubas, CC tubas, BBb tubas. I'll be the first to say that I am a trombonist by trade and leave the real tuba playing to the folks who have dedicated themselves to the instrument, I have a lot of respect for them as tuba is hard! However, sometimes I will find myself in a situation where I need to double on the instrument.
Since the first time I heard a Hirsbrunner tuba (Chuck Koontz playing Norm Pearson's HB6 CC Tuba, I loved this horn!) I wanted to own one.
